Len Stevens

Len Stevens – President

Len Stevens is the new President of Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada, the world's largest organization dedicated to giving young people the knowledge and skills they need to own their economic success, plan for their future and make smart academic and economic choices.
This year Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada is celebrating Its 60th anniversary. In that 60 years, Junior Achievement is honored to have had the privilege of inspiring over 200,000 children in grades k- 12 throughout the 13 counties that encompass the Northern Nevada's.
Len is a distinguished business leader with 14 years in education, 32 years in coaching and mentoring students all over the world. Len spent 15 years as a CEO in the non-profit sector, and 6 years in radio marketing. 
Throughout his career, Len's ability to bring diverse communities and business interest together for the common good has been recognized often with numerous awards and commendations from educational institutes, community organizations and has even been awarded the Seven Seals Recipient for meritorious leadership and initiative in support of the men and women who serve America in the National Guard and Reserve.

Jessica Walker

Jessica Walker – Development Specialist

Jessica recently joined Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada In January of 2017. Jessica brings with her extensive grant writing experience, community and education coordination as well as education program development. In addition, Jessica has served in a variety of non-profit sector roles in Northern Nevada as well as Truckee, CA.
As Office Administrator, Jessica is in charge of program development, funding compliance and all other forms of written Media and Marketing. Jessica is also in charge of PR for Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada as well as HR and accounting. Her focus is on helping Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada advance their mission through creative and strategic communication and community outreach.

Vanessa Rios

Vanessa Rios – Education & Events Manager

Vanessa is the newest member to join the Junior Achievement of Northern Nevada team. Vanessa brings with her experience in community education, outreach and as a program coordinator, as well as experience in management in the non-profit sector. She has served in a variety of non-profit sector roles and committees in the Northern Nevada area.
As Education and Events Manager, Vanessa is responsible for implementation of programs per the strategic plan, developing and initiating education partnerships with local business sponsors, volunteers and schools in the Northern Nevada area. She is also responsible for coordinating JANN's four major fundraising events, developing a budget for all events, growing and coordinating the JANN volunteer base, developing JANN brand recognition through outreach and social media.
