Why Bowl for JA?
Junior Achievement empowers young people to own their economic success. Basically, we change their attitudes from "I can't" into "I CAN" through hands-on learning taught by volunteer mentors. JA Programs are age specific and instill in children early on how much power they have in their own futures.
In 2018-2019 JA of Northwestern Ohio will provide financial literacy programming to more than 20,000 students. JA programs foster financial literacy, entrepreneurship, and career development skills.
What is the JA Bowl-A-Thon?
The JA Bowl-A-Thon is an annual Junior Achievement fundraiser that generates $90,000 annually for the delivery of Junior Achievement's Financial Literacy, Entrepreneurship, and Career Development education programs throughout Northwestern Ohio. The Bowl-A-Thon is a unique opportunity to support education. Not only is it for the students of our community, but for the employees of your organization as well. Ultimately, it is a FUN fundraiser!
The 2019 Bowl-A-Thon will be held at Southwyck Lanes in Toledo on the following dates:
Friday, February 8 6:00pm-9:00pm
Friday, February 22 6:00pm-9:00pm
