Greater Cincinnati Business Hall of Fame Announces

2021 Slate of Laureates 

Induction Ceremony to be Held October 7, 2021 at Cintas Center

(Cincinnati, Ohio:  May 18, 2021) Junior Achievement of OKI Partners, Inc. and the Cincinnati Museum Center, in conjunction with the Greater Cincinnati Business Hall of Fame, are pleased to announce the slate of 2021 Hall of Fame Laureates.

The Business Hall of Fame is the region's most rigorously vetted and prestigious business award. Laureates are selected for their business leadership and entrepreneurial vision. These accomplishments must have resulted in a strong and sustainable business enterprise which left a mark on the local business landscape and often beyond.  

Laureates are typically selected after they retire from the day to day operations of their business. By tradition, at least one laureate is honored posthumously. A video record of each laureate's achievements is produced for presentation at the Hall of Fame induction ceremony and archived at the Cincinnati Museum Center.

Your 2021 Laureates are:

John W. Hayden – Retired President and CEO, Midland Company

Ralph Lazarus – Chairman, Federated Department Stores (Posthumous )

Joseph Mayernik – Executive Chairman, Prodigo Solutions, Inc.  Founder, and CEO Senoma Holdings, LLC.

Edwin J. Rigaud – Founder, Legacy Acquisition Corp.  Groundbreaking Executive, Procter & Gamble

Pauline Strayhorne - Executive Vice President, Major Federal Savings and Loan  (Posthumous)

Peg Wyant – Founder and CEO, Grandin Properties.  Groundbreaking Executive, Procter & Gamble

These six individuals are not only outstanding business men and women, they are true trail blazers." said Scott Robertson, Chair of the Greater Cincinnati Business Hall of Fame Selection Committee and Chair of RCF Group.

The Hall of Fame was created in 1991 to acknowledge the rich history of entrepreneurship and business excellence in our Region. This year marks the 27th induction class.  The event benefits Junior Achievement of OKI Partners, Inc., and its mission to empower young people to own their economic success.

The 2021 induction ceremony will he held October 7 at the Cintas Center.
