Why Junior Achievement?
JA's volunteer-delivered programs help inspire students to own their own economic future. Programs focused on economic education are for all students, Kindergarten to Grade 12.
The organization utilize over 8,000 volunteers which will reach more than 100,000 students this school year. In terms of market share, 25% of all students participate in JA programs each year.
Junior Achievement of South Central PA is a business-based nonprofit with an annual operating budget of $2.1 million. Funding comes primarily from the business community.
Involvement with Junior Achievement is an investment in the next generation. In a few years, these same students will be employees, residents in the neighborhood, and leaders in our community. Help JA inspire and prepare them now.
