JA Special Events
At JA of Southeast Texas, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
JA Inspire
JA Inspire is Houston's largest, one of a kind, interactive experience that exposes middle school students to the vast variety of local career opportunities. This job awareness fair enables students to interact with business representatives and see displays from hundreds of Southeast Texas companies.

32nd Annual JA Bowl-A-Thon
The JA Bowl-A-Thon is our largest peer-to-peer fundraiser! Company participants create teams, raise funds, and celebrate their fundraising efforts at a fun, interactive bowling event hosted by Junior Achievement. Registration fees of $20-$40 per bowler generally include three games, shoe rental, two drink tickets, and an event T-Shirt.

JA Hall of Achievement presented by RBC Capital Markets
This business recognition dinner for Junior Achievement provides an opportunity to honor some of Houston's finest community members. JA Hall of Achievement honorees are exceptional leaders who exemplify the highest ethical standards, promote the free enterprise system and the importance of education. These individuals are known for giving back to the community and are inspirational role models for the youth of Houston. Proceeds benefit the more than 330,000 greater Houston area students that participate in Junior Achievement programs annually.

4th Annual Comerica Clay Shoot benefiting Junior Achievement
This annual event, hosted by Comerica Bank, is a four-person sporting clay tournament at the beautiful Greater Houston Gun Club. Four-person teams include birds, shells, and golf carts; participants must bring their own gun. Guests will enjoy lunch, dinner, and an awards reception. Proceeds from this event benefit the more than 330,000 greater Houston area students that participate in Junior Achievement programs annually.

2018 Marc Vandermeer Golf Classic presented by Insperity
Junior Achievement and Marc Vandermeer, Voice of the Houston Texans, join forces to promote economic education through local businesses in the Bay Area. The tournament includes a live auction and raffle, which are crucial to the fundraising efforts. So come ready to spend money on great golf trips and memorabilia! Sponsorships are available and begin at $300.

30th Annual Chevron | Schlumberger Scramble
For 30 years, Chevron and Schlumberger have invited partners to join them in supporting free enterprise education through JA. The event features an afternoon flight, and is one of the finest golf tournaments in the greater Houston area. The tournament field will be limited to a maximum of 54 teams and is an opportunity to build client relationships for participants while raising funds for Junior Achievement programs. Foursomes are available at the $4,000 and $3,000 level.

18th Annual Katy ISD | Junior Achievement Golf Scramble
This is a four-person scramble tournament. Participation in the event includes breakfast and an awards luncheon. Foursomes are $800 and sponsorships begin at $300. All proceeds will support Katy ISD and Junior Achievement with a goal of bringing Junior Achievement economic education programs to every Katy ISD student. Lawrence Hindt, Superintendent of Schools, hosts this very special tournament.

25th Annual Anadarko | Plains All American | Schlumberger Golf Classic
This premier golf classic is a four-person best ball, full handicap tournament at one of Houston's prestigious golf venues, Champions Golf Club. Play will take place on the Cypress Creek Course and Jack Rabbit Course. A dinner, cocktail reception, and auction will follow the tournament.

Inspire our youth in the Greater Houston area to succeed in a global economy by participating in the RBC Race for the Kids! More information to follow.
