IRONMAN GOLF championship
Over the years, the IRONMAN Championship has grown into one of New England's premier charity events and has raised over one million dollars to support Junior Achievement's financial literacy, work readiness and entrepreneurship programs across Southern Massachusetts – benefitting more than 40,000 students!
This year's IRONMAN Championship will be held at the prestigious Bay Club in Mattapoisett on Monday, September 24th. Participation includes 36 holes of championship golf, continental breakfast, a lunch buffet, a post golf reception, dinner, awards on the patio, and outstanding prizes! The event raises critical funds for local Junior Achievement programs in K-12 classrooms. IRONMAN players must each raise a minimum of $600 to participate in the event, and many players raise much more in the quest to be named the IRONMAN of the year. There is also an IRONLADY component to the event with a minimum donation of $350 per player, which includes 18 holes of championship golf and participation in all dining and awards ceremonies.
