At JA of Southwestern Indiana, we host several events throughout the year to bring our mission to life and invest in the youth in our community. Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business, we offer several ways for you to support our mission while having a great time!

JA Dubois County Business Hall of Fame

JA Dubois County Business Hall of Fame

The JA Dubois County Business Hall of Fame was created in 2014 with Title Sponsor Bingham Greenebaum Doll LLC to recognize individuals for their business excellence, vision, innovation, inspiring leadership and community service to the Dubois County Community. A monument with a citation and image of each laureate will also be displayed at the Dubois County Museum.

JA Evansville Regional Business Hall of Fame

JA Evansville Regional Business Hall of Fame

The JA Evansville Regional Business Hall of Fame was created in 2005 in with Title Sponsor Courier & Press, now part of USA Today, to honor outstanding business leaders and present business role models to the youth of southwestern Indiana. Nominations must be from the Evansville Region and demonstrate business excellence, courageous thinking and action, inspired leadership, and community mindedness.

JA Free Enterprise Invitational

JA Free Enterprise Invitational

The JA Free Enterprise Invitational golf scramble was created in 2001 with Title Sponsor Coca Cola Consolidated and is hosted by Victoria National Golf Club in Newburgh, Indiana. This event brings in golfers from all over the country who are passionate about the sport and JA. Victoria National Golf Club continues to win national awards and continues to be ranked top 100 by Golf Digest.

JA Golf Raffle

JA Golf Raffle

The JA Golf Raffle was created in 1995 by the Junior Achievement of Southwestern Indiana Board of Directors, to highlight all the local golf courses and clubs that make living in southwestern Indiana such a wonderful experience. We only have 500 tickets and each year the prizes get better and better.

JA Innovation Challenge

JA Innovation Challenge

The JA Innovation Challenge program was created in 2014 with Title Sponsors Toyota Motor Manufacturing, Indiana and VUTEQ to showcase the entrepreneurial spirit in southwestern Indiana and southeastern Illinois. This program that teaches students about the ins and outs of running a successful business. Classrooms compete for a chance to enter their product into the Regional Competition.

JA JobSpark

JA JobSpark

The JA JobSpark program was created in 2016 in collaboration with The Public Education Foundation of Evansville, Inc., and Title Sponsor Vectren, now a CenterPoint Energy Company. The event is a hands-on career expo for area 8th through 12th grade students and is meant to "spark" an interest in students and start them thinking about and preparing for future career pathways. 

JA Job Shadow

JA Job Shadow

The JA Job Shadow program was created in 2007 to bring our mission of work readiness to life. Students are able to enter the workplace, experience careers in action, and begin to make the important connection between school and the real world. JA Job Shadow contributes to the vitality of our local economy and a well-educated workforce.

JA Lunch with the Leaders

JA Lunch with the Leaders

JA Lunch with the Leaders was created in 2017 to connect students with leaders in their community. Leaders will share inspiring stories of personal and professional growth to encourage students to pursue their dreams and to remember all things are possible with hard work and determination.

Play 4 JA is an opportunity that allows Junior Achievement supporters a fun and easy way to raise funds for JA's K-12 financial education programs. Funds are raised through team-building activities such as bowling, scavenger hunts, or whatever your group considers fun!
