BE APART OF THE FIRST JA VIRTUAL 5K AND BE A #JASUPERHERO
Because of our students being sent home from school due to COVID-19, we wanted to create an event that brought our community back together.
The Virtual 5K is meant to keep us connected with a common cause of raising support for K-12 Work Readiness, Financial Literacy, & Entrepreneurship Programs!
With the Coronavirus (COVID-19) present as a national concern, JA of the Michigan Great Lakes is ensuring that the health and safety of our volunteers, students, and staff is our most important priority. Due to Governor Whitmer closing Michigan schools for the next three weeks, all JA programming will also be suspended through April 5.
Volunteers and teachers, please communicate with one another during that period to reschedule dates for JA programming once schools are back in session.
Note that if there is a specific JA event coming up in the next 8 weeks, you will be contacted by staff with information about that particular event.
We appreciate your understanding during this difficult time and we look forward to working with our area students very soon!
