Junior Achievement is teaming up with Guilford County Schools, Greensboro Chamber of Commerce, High Point Chamber of Commerce, and Guilford Education Alliance to bring the World of Work to all GCS 8th grade students.  Junior Achievement will present the Construction and Advanced Manufacturing Worlds of Work to students through hands-on activities.

The goal of World of Work is to provide 8th-grade students with an opportunity to do activities associated with careers in the construction and advanced manufacturing industries. During these one-day events, students rotate through hands-on booths run by experienced tradespeople. Students leave the experience more aware and interested in careers they may not have otherwise considered before they start high school course planning.
