Junior Achievement is a not-for-profit tax-exempt corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code and is a publicly supported organization as defined by Sections 170(b)(1)(A)(vi) and 509(a)(1) of the code. Contributions to Junior Achievement of Upstate South Carolina are deductible for federal income tax purposes, limited to the excess of any money contributed by the donor over the value of the goods or services received.
