JA of Upstate South Carolina EVENTS
At JA of Upstate South Carolina, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!
Willy Taco Junior Achievement Awareness Night
Come enjoy all you can eat tacos, meet our "super" volunteers, and learn more about JA! Cost is $12 per person with $10 going to support JA programs.
BIZ BOWL 2019

This is a competition where 100+ students in teams of 2-4 will apply learned business concepts during a competitive virtual simulation to make decisions that affect a company's bottom line. While doing this, they will develope corporate budgets, interpret and analyze financial reports, and gain a working knowledge of of pricing, production, capital investments, research and development, marketing, charitable giving.
JA Champions Celebration
An evening of celebration of our "JA Champions" -- those who have been so generous with their time, talent and treasure.
JA Entrepreneurship Week
Designed to coincide with Global Entrepreneurship Week, this initiative places entrepreneurs into high school classrooms throughout our community to share what inspired them to start their own businesses and to open students' eyes to the opportunities provided by entrepreneurship.
JA Biz Bowl
JA Bowl-a-Thons are a great way to get employees in your organization together for a fun time while raising funds to help Junior Achievement reach more students in our community!
JA Ethics Program Luncheon
Upstate businesses, community leaders, educators, and high school students are invited to a unique event that examines the real world application of ethics in business.
On November 8th, 2017, volunteers, corporate donors, and individuals came together to share their stories of inspiration, words of enlightenment as well as their help to spread the word about the impact JA is making in our community.
