JA of Greater Fairfield County EVENTS

At JA of Greater Fairfield County, we host several events throughout the year to raise money to support our programming. These events also engage the community in our efforts to reach students! Whether you'd like to get involved on an individual level or as a business through event sponsorship, we offer several ways for you to support our work while having a great time!

JA High School Business Challenge

JA High School Business Challenge

Time: 9:00am

Using Junior Achievement's high school business simulation program, the JA Business Challenge places high school students in the CEO's seat. Young entrepreneurs are taught in an engaging way about the nuances of running a global business in a competitive, high-tech marketplace. Student teams strategize to operate the most successful virtual business as they develop skills in teamwork, problem-solving and critical thinking. Success depends on how well they manage their company's key decisions. Companies (teams) are challenged to outperform the competition in profit, sales and market share.
