Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Named KTEC 2018 Distinguished Partner Award

Junior Achievement (JA) will be presented with KTEC’s 2018 Distinguished Partner Award at the annual Fit for Growth Gala on Saturday, April 14, 2018 for their outstanding dedication to education and support of KTEC. The Distinguished Partner award is a traditional part of KTEC’s Fit for Growth Gala. It recognizes the community partners who have invested their time, resources, and expertise to provide KTEC students with hands-on, real-world experiences.

“The Junior Achievement lessons have provided our students with valuable knowledge about financial literacy and entrepreneurship. JA supplies all of the materials, lesson plans, and most importantly, brings in volunteers from community businesses to teach the students. It gives our students a real-world connection that links the classroom to their lives.” ~ Dr. Angela Andersson, KTEC Principal

“Junior Achievement is proud to partner with dynamic schools like KTEC, adding value to the students’ education and inspiring them. Students who are better prepared to find a career that fits them, manage money, and know about the opportunity to start their own business one day are the future of a stronger Kenosha and Wisconsin.” ~ Nick Lyons, Junior Achievement Director
