The 2016 Wisconsin JA Business Challenge

The 2016 JA Wisconsin Business Challenge took place Thursday, April 28, at ACUITY in Sheboygan. It was a full house as 25 teams from around the state competed for top prizes of scholarships and Kohl’s gift cards.

The competition was fierce as team Schnickel’s Pickles Inc., from Kohler High School (ECD), took home the top prize of $1,000 scholarships for post-secondary education. Congratulation to Jacob Geldreich, Lucas Wesemann and Josh Konecke.

In second place, Chicken INC from Appleton East High School (WIN) was awarded $500 dollar scholarships for post-secondary education. Team members included Robert Kersten and Sidney Smestad.

Third place went to Sun Prairie High School (Dane) who won $100 gift cards to Kohl’s. Team members were Justus Benson and Noah Reisinger.

The first place teams from each of the remaining industries also received $100 gift cards from Kohl’s.
