The Junior Achievement office in Green Bay is one of 12 area offices in the state. Governed by a local board of directors comprised of business and community leaders, the Greater Green Bay Area is serving over 7,500 students in 350 classrooms in Brown, Door, Florence, Forest, Kewaunee, Marinette, Menominee, and Oconto counties.

Innovation JAm 2019

When: Thursday, December 5, 2019
Where: Schneider - 3101 Packerland Drive, Green Bay

This day-long event will feature high school students working in small teams utilizing the latest in cloud-based technologies and design thinking to help solve a real-world business problem with assistance from Schneider and IBM business and technology professionals. 

Students will:

  • Learn about careers in technology, business and logistics
  • Develop leadership, innovation, collaboration and entrepreneurial skills
  • Add a unique experience to their resume and/or college applications

JA Business Challenge - Greater Green Bay Area

JA Business Challenge - Greater Green Bay Area

When: Thursday, February 27, 2020
Where: Northeast Wisconsin Technical College, 2740 W Mason St, Green Bay, WI 54307
Time: 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

JA Business Challenge is a one-day event where high school students work as a team to navigate running a virtual company. Success of the competition depends on decisions about product pricing, marketing, research and development, and business practice. Win or lose, the JA Business Challenge provides an understanding of how management decisions affect a company's bottom line. 

JA Business Challenge offers:

  • Scholarships to top placing teams
  • Business mentor for each team of 2 or 3
  • Real-life business application
  • Several rounds to perfect business skills
  • Resume and college application content
