JA Business Challenge - Greater Green Bay
When: March 1, 2019
Where: NWTC, 2740 West Mason Street, Green Bay
Time: 7:30 AM - 2:00 PM
Business Challenge is a one-day event where high school students (grades 9-12) from around the area compete for scholarships. Using an online simulator, JA Titan, this exciting business strategy tournament puts the student's business knowledge to the test. "Companies" of three students, each mentored by one business representative, compete against one another to manufacture and market a product. Teams are challenged to outperform their competition in terms of profit, sales, and market share. JA Business Challenge is a powerful learning experience, where students experience real-world application of business concepts. One student stated, "Not only is it a great scholarship opportunity, but I think it's a lot of fun." Another said, "It was a great opportunity to learn about business." JA Business Challenge presents a unique opportunity for students to experience business practices first hand and help them acquire skills that they can apply in their future careers.
