The Junior Achievement office in Wausau is one of 12 area offices in the state. Governed by a local board of directors comprised of business and community leaders, the Northcentral Wisconsin area has over 11,300 students in nearly 600 classrooms in Iron, Langlade, Lincoln, Marathon, Oneida, and Vilas counties.

JA Career Speaker Live Event - Celebrate African American Entrepreneurs and Inspire Your Students to Dream Big
Join us and celebrate African American Entrepreneurs on February 2, 2021 from 10:00-10:45 AM. Dr. Leroy Nunery II, Denise Thomas, and Michael Sheppard will share their stories while you and your students can learn about three unique pathways to achieve your dreams. Students can join live or virtually, so simply sign up and let us know your preference.
Executive Business Challenge - Northcentral Wisconsin
Junior Achievement's Executive Business Challenge is a hands-on computer-simulated business strategy tournament where community business leaders team up to compete in a business scenario where you are running a business and selling a product. All of this takes place under timed rounds, so smart business decisions need to be made quickly! In one evening, you will play the game against other community executives and truly test your business savvy. During the competition, you will have a chance at winning raffle prizes and, if you out-play your colleagues, have the bragging rights of winning the traveling Titans of Industry trophy!
JA Business Challenge - Northcentral Wisconsin
The Junior Achievement Business Challenge is a business strategy tournament using the JA Titan program - an online business educational program. The competition is uniquely designed to utilize student creativity, test leadership skills, and demonstrate the competitive nature of the free enterprise system. High school students compete in our JA Titan for a chance to win scholarships and advance to the Wisconsin JA Business Challenge and compete with students throughout Wisconsin.
Champions of Business
Our community is rich with the stories of visionary businessmen and women whose contributions have made Northcentral Wisconsin a great place to live and work. The Champions of Business event was conceived as a means to recognize and honor the professional accomplishments of these individuals, as well as to identify positive role models for our community's young people. An elegant evening to celebrate these past leaders of our community.
