The Junior Achievement office in Racine/Kenosha Area is one of 12 area offices in the state. Governed by a local board of directors comprised of business and community leaders, the Racine/Kenosha Area district serves more than 5,000 students in 50 schools annually in Racine and Kenosha Counties.

Junior Achievement hosts many events across the state designed to recognize partners, increase awareness of its mission, and raise funds to teach students about entrepreneurship, global workforce readiness, and personal financial literacy. Junior Achievement Michael E. Batten Memorial Scholarship

Junior Achievement Michael E. Batten Memorial Scholarship

This annual award is offered to the most deserving applicants who are seniors in high school anywhere in Racine County. Each will receive $1,000 toward any education beyond high school in the form of a scholarship. Each recipient of this award will have proven leadership skills with defined outcomes, demonstrate entrepreneurship, good character, poise and conduct. Application for the 2019 awards now being accepted until February 15, 2019.

JA Bowl-A-Thon - Racine & Kenosha

JA Bowl-A-Thon - Racine & Kenosha

When: April 27, 2019
Where: Guttormsen Recreation Center

Bowl-A-Thon participants will raise money to support Junior Achievement's local educational programs that empower young people to own their economic success. Racine and Kenosha County businesses will be coming together to support Junior Achievement and enjoy bowling, food, and prizes!

JA Business Challenge - Racine & Kenosha

JA Business Challenge - Racine & Kenosha

When: March 14, 2019
Where: Gateway Technical College, Sturtevant

High School students from across Racine & Kenosha Counties will compete to see who can come out on top in this simulation of running a global business. Who will advance to the state championship?

Check back early 2019 for more information on registering and sponsorships. We will once again host this tournament at the SCI iMet on Gateway Technical College's campus in Sturtevant.
