The Junior Achievement office in Janesville is one of 12 area offices in the state. Governed by a local board of directors comprised of business and community leaders, the Rock County area is serving almost 5,000 students in more than 200 classrooms in Green, Rock, and Walworth counties.

Junior Achievement of Wisconsin hosts many events across the state designed to recognize partners, increase awareness of its mission and raise funds to teach students about entrepreneurship, global workforce readiness, and personal financial literacy. JA Business Challenge - Rock County

When: Friday, February 22

Where: Blackhawk Technical College

Time: All day

Business Challenge is a one-day event where high school students (grades 9-12) from around the area compete for scholarships. Using an online simulator, JA Titan, this exciting business strategy tournament puts the student's business knowledge to the test. "Companies" of two students, each mentored by one business representative, compete against one another to manufacture and market a product.
