Junior Achievement of Wisconsin Scholarships

College scholarships for Wisconsin high school studentsJunior Achievement is here to help finance your college education. Junior Achievement of Wisconsin offers nearly $30,000 in scholarships for students in the state of Wisconsin. These scholarships are awarded to students every year to help them achieve their goal of a post-secondary education. Scholarships may be renewable but must be applied for each year. The list below provides details on each scholarship and application information.

The 2019 Scholarships are now open!

1.  Junior Achievement Michael E. Batten Memorial Scholarship for Seniors in Racine County

This annual award is offered to the most deserving applicants who are seniors in high school anywhere in Racine County. Each will receive $1,000 toward any education beyond high school in the form of a scholarship. Each recipient of this award will have proven leadership skills with defined outcomes, demonstrate entrepreneurship, good character, poise and conduct.

2.  Young Entrepreneur of the Year Scholarship

Each year, Junior Achievement, DPI, and EY give recognition to a student in 5th through 12th grade in Wisconsin who has made their mark as an entrepreneur by turning an idea into an actuality; an individual with an innovative spirit who has successfully applied business knowledge.

3.  Vernon J. Hellenbrand Memorial Scholarship for High School Students in Dane County

This annual award is given to two deserving applicants who are seniors in high school anywhere in Dane County. Applicants must be eligible for admission to an accredited technical school, college or university where they will pursue coursework toward an Associate's or Bachelor's Degree in business, finance or entrepreneurship.

4.  Junior Achievement Scholarship for High School and College Students

JA High School Scholarship

Available to high school students in Wisconsin who:
- Have been a participant in a Junior Achievement program during the current school year AND/OR 
- Has taught a minimum of 2 JA elementary school program classes. At least one class must have been completed during this school year.

JA College Scholarship

Available to college students in Wisconsin who:
- Have taught a minimum of 2 JA school programs. All classes must have been taught in the 2018-2019 school year; this does include summer of 2018.

5.  Lyda M. Locke Scholarship for High School Students in Dane County

This annual award is given to two deserving applicants who are seniors in high school anywhere in Dane County.
