JA BizTown Volunteer Training | Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, Inc.
JA BizTown® Volunteer Training
JA BizTown will be a rewarding way for you to volunteer a few hours of your time. It is operated by Junior Achievement of Northern Indiana, which serves over 140,000 students of all ages across the region through in-school lessons and special experiences like JA BizTown.
In order to have a successful day at JA BizTown, we need at least one or two volunteers per business. To ensure that each volunteer has a good experience, we ask that you complete the below volunteer training before your onsite training. If you would like additional preparation, we encourage you to review the positions and task responsibilities that are found in your assigned business (click here for business list). It has valuable information to prepare you for your specific volunteer role. This information will also be available during your visit.
Thank You for volunteering at JA BizTown - we can't wait for you to be here!

Volunteer Onsite Training
The second volunteer training session takes place on the simulation day, beginning promptly one hour before the students arrive at the JA BizTown facility, 550 E. Wallen Rd., Fort Wayne, Indiana 46825. You will learn how your assigned student-run business operates and what your role will be during the simulation.
All volunteers must read and sign the Volunteer Policies and In-Person COVID Waiver in order to participate in a simulation. A copy of these forms can be viewed below but they do not need to be printed and brought with you as JA staff will have copies available to sign when you arrive.
